Mass Timber [Part 1]
Mass Timber – Part I
The technical and sustainability aspects of Mass Timber construction
The Regenerative Collaborative South Africa presents:
Mass Timber: The technical and sustainability aspects of Mass Timber Construction (Part 1)
Wood is viewed as the noblest of building materials thanks to the biophilic properties it inherently possesses. In some parts of the planet, it’s been seen to be a carbon smart material. Arguably, in comparison with concrete and virgin steel construction, mass timber construction is claimed to significantly reduce a building’s carbon footprint. Mass Timber Construction could be a relatively new method of construction in South Africa.
This webinar, sponsored by Rooftek, will unpack the considerations and limitations of Timber Construction.
